Job Description

Our client, a well-regarded private practice in Woodville North, are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Psychologist (General or Clinical) to join their team of clinicians offering services to a wide range of clients. About the Role
  • Remuneration: Take home between $130 and $156 in a room booking model with a minimum 60/40 split on session fees based on a caseload of 5 clients per day.
  • Flexibility: Choose your working hours to fit your needs and suit your lifestyle.
  • Therapeutic Modalities: Opportunities to develop or enhance skills in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with tailored guidance and supervision.
  • Tailored Caseload: Primarily adults (16+) but referral base for paediatric clients is there and can be tailored to your preference
  • Development Opportunities: Supervision for Clinical Registrars is available, and all clinicians are invited to join regular CPD mornings covering topics such as Assessing Psychosis, Neurodiversity and Eating Disorders
  • Admin Support: Dedicated admin team on-site from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday to empower you to focus on in-clinic work
  • Prime Location: Work in a newly refurbished space with on-site parking, access to a vibrant retail precinct with great transport links, and beautiful green space and wetland nearby
  • Supportive Environment: Have a Director on call every day to de-brief on the 'tricky' days or get advice on complex cases
Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Provide meaningful therapies to a diverse caseload of clients tailored to suit your preferences
  • Keep thorough session notes and ensure client information is used ethically and in line with confidentiality 
  • Be available to work a minimum of three days across Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Minimum Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Eligible to obtain Medicare Provider numbers
  • Demonstrable clinical experience providing evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, MBCT, Schema Therapy, MBT and EMDR
