Job Description

Our client is a warm private practice with a passionate team of experienced clinicians who is now looking to add another Registered or Clinical Psychologist to their team. The practice is well-respected and the team have been providing support to clients locally for over a decade.

This role is perfect for a Psychologist with a client-centric approach who is looking to join a practice with strong values.

  • Comprehensive Admin Support: Have your bookings, billings, cancellations and rescheduling taken care of by an experienced administrative team

Your duties will include:
  • Providing ongoing therapy to adult clients with a range of presentations, including but not limited to Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Neurodiversity, OCD and Low Self Esteem
  • Supporting an average of six clients per day by drawing on a range of evidence based therapies, such as CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy and EMDR
  • Maintaining accurate case notes, manage client files, and uphold all legal and ethical standards in your practice
About you:
  • Have an open minded approach to practice and be excited by the idea of joining a highly skilled team of clinicians
  • Be committed to continuous professional development and excellence, including peer supervision and other clinically relevant CPD
  • Be proficient in evidence based therapies, including but not limited to CBT, ACT, and positive psychology interventions
  • Hold a tertiary Psychology qualification
  • AHPRA Registered 
  • Have a valid Working with Children and Police Check
  • Proficiency in the treatment of OCD and Personality Disorders would be highly regarded
