Job Description

Our client is a purpose-built practice in Kent Town who are looking to add an experienced Registered or Clinical Psychologist to their team of 8 clinicians. The practice offers ongoing therapy to a wide range of adult clients with varying presentations, and offer the opportunity to specialise in conditions and modalities that spark your interest. 

Please note that this role is 2 days per week.

About the Role
  • Remuneration: Take home between $175 and $205 per session with full autonomy over how many clients you see per day!
  • Flexibility: Choose your working hours to fit your needs and suit your lifestyle
  • Tailored Caseload: Primarily adults (16+) however a referral base for paediatric clients is there and can be tailored to your preference
  • Referrals: Bring in your own referrals or benefit from a well-reputed practice who will actively bring in private GP referrals on your behalf 
  • Admin Support: Dedicated admin team on-site from 10am Monday to Friday to empower you to focus on in-clinic work
  • Prime Location: Work in a newly refurbished space with on-site parking, access to a vibrant retail precinct with great transport links, and beautiful green space and wetland nearby
  • Professional Development: Group supervision regularly offered to promote best practices
Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Provide meaningful ongoing therapies to a diverse caseload of clients tailored to suit your preferences
  • Keep thorough session notes and ensure client information is used ethically and in line with confidentiality 
  • Bring in your own referrals to supplement your caseload, and in turn benefit from internal and GP/Medicare referrals triaged by the admin team

  • A clinician with a particular interest in Eating Disorders, Abnormal Psychology (such as Personality Disorders), and/or Trauma
Minimum Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Eligible to obtain Medicare Provider number
  • Demonstrable clinical experience providing evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, MBCT, Schema Therapy, MBT and EMDR 
  • Availability to work on a Tuesday and/or a Saturday
