Job Description

If you're looking for a workplace where you're supported to grow, trusted to work independently, and surrounded by a collaborative multidisciplinary team, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Our client is expanding its Melbourne team and is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join its growing practice across Tarneit and Ravenhall.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys variety, flexibility and delivering high-quality, person-centred care across both clinic and community settings.

Whether you're looking for part-time work with the opportunity to build into full-time, or you're interested in a contractor arrangement, this team is committed to creating a role that works around you.

The clinic is a growing NDIS Allied Health provider with services across Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales.

Operating for over three years, the organisation has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality supports through a collaborative multidisciplinary approach.

The Melbourne team currently includes:
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners
  • Psychologists
  • Dedicated administration support
You'll work alongside an experienced Clinical Manager who is passionate about supporting clinicians to succeed while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

The Role You'll work with a varied NDIS caseload ranging from 5 to 65 years of age, providing meaningful interventions across clinic and community settings.

Your week may include:
  • Functional assessments and ongoing therapy
  • Home, school, kindergarten and community visits
  • Clinic appointments
  • Group programs
  • Collaborative goal planning with families and support networks
  • Report writing and case management
Occupational Therapists generally spend more time in the community, while still benefiting from access to modern clinic facilities.

Workloads are intentionally manageable, with clinicians typically seeing 4-5 clients per day, allowing time to provide quality care and complete documentation to a high standard.

Why You'll Love This Role:
  • $90,000-$115,000 + super (depending on experience)
  • Performance bonus program
  • Birthday leave every year
  • Professional Development allowance plus paid study leave
  • Company vehicle available for community appointments (or use your own vehicle)
Genuine Flexibility
  • Start part-time with the opportunity to increase to full-time
  • Contractor opportunities also available
  • Flexible start and finish times
  • Mix of clinic and community work
  • Supportive leadership that values work-life balance
Exceptional Support
  • Clinical supervision from an experienced Clinical Manager
  • Ongoing mentoring and feedback from senior clinicians
  • Open-door leadership approach
  • Dedicated administration team managing bookings and scheduling
  • Encouragement to pursue external professional development and specialist training
The team is collaborative, approachable and always willing to support one another. Quality of care always comes before numbers, and everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas, ask questions and continue developing professionally.

They're looking for someone who is:
  • Open-minded and proactive
  • Confident working independently
  • Friendly and easy to get along with
  • Organised with strong clinical documentation skills
  • Passionate about making a genuine difference in clients' lives
New graduates are welcome to apply, although clinicians with experience in case notes, report writing and community practice will be highly regarded.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
  • Driver's licence (preferred)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Australian working rights
